haiz.. it came earlier then i expected but it's better this way bah.. my application to uni of melbourne was unsuccessful... ah! now just have to look for other options.. just called my officer as to what other unis do they accept as well other then unimelb which is like their top choice.. hmm.. then i will have to start the applying process once again.. nvm bah.. i still think that unhappy things or failures happen for a reason.. perhaps like to serve as a reminder that things should not be taken from granted.

Btw.. finally came out with quite a concrete plan as to when gg KL with my 2 buddies.. have been thinking of gg since dunno when.. haha.. luckily when we leave for KL in a few wks time, everything will turn out smoothly.. and that it will be a wonderful trip! lots of shopping to do.. planned to go a lot of shopping places at bukit bintang area, klcc, and mid valley mall.. i have been gg to malaysia every yr since quite many yrs back le.. at least 5 yrs i think? so im actually quite familiar with KL le.. of course just the imbi and bukit bintang area thats all.. haha..=p so quite confident in bringing my friends there.. wont lose our way bah.. heez..

then after this malaysia trip will really have to start working le.. at first i wanted to start work from july onwards.. but last min we say we must go kl.. if not wont have other chances le.. when they start uni in aug.. so i guess i can only start work late july or aug.. for me i still got quite a few months to go b4 flying off to OZ next feb.. but im sure it will pass really quickly.. how i wish i already have a confirmed uni that im gg to go to.. so that i can start doin all the admin stuff.. applying for visa.. check up.. which residential college to go to.. etc etc etc.. then i wont have to rush in the last min or smth.. i dont like to fire fight.. make me feel gan jiong.. haha.. so i would definitely prefer to get everything done as early as possible.. haiz.. hopefully a uni will accept me bah.. ah! scared.. what if the worse happens.. dont have a uni to go to.. waste one yr........... dont want to think abt it.. haha.. dont care first..

hmm.. tmr gg pasir ris park with my friends to cycle.. will be my first time gg there.. last time east coast park has always been the place if we wanna cycle or blade or just hang out.. haha.. its gd to go somewhere new...

recently, realised that my little bro seems scared of being alone.. sometimes i cant help but think.. did i make the correct decision.. if i was too self-centred..

I took this pic when my father and i brought my little bro and cousin to take the different trains in KL.. Haha.. cos my little bro likes trains a lot, esp how it works and how the train tracks look like etc.. i can forsee that he will be a super outstanding engineer in the future.. lol..=p btw.. i decided to upload some nice pics and then talk abt them as a way to recall our trip..=) hmm.. we spent 2 nights at KL.. at KL we were accompanied by a lot of relatives.. so i booked 5 rooms in total for all the families to stay.. most of them only staying in KL.. for 3 nights then go back le.. only my family and 3rd uncle's family cont on to other places in msia..

as this time i specially made a point to read msia's travel guide, so we tried to find new places.. mostly for good food.. for e.g. the night mkt at kampong baru.. pudu mkt.. as such we walked quite a lot.. i was actually quite afraid that after bringing them to walk so long dist.. our destination turns out to be rather disappointing.. then i would be 'scolded' by everybody.. heez.. luckily for me.. it was quite a worthy trip.. the mkt there was great.. there was a main coffee shop there with a lot of roadside stalls that sell all kinds of food.. like pancake, drinks, fried food, special kuehs, and many others..

the next day.. the kids went to the theme park at times sq with my aunties.. then me and my mum went shopping..=p ups and downs.... suddenly got to know a lot that was beyond me.. 3rd day left kl and headed to ipoh..

ipoh nothin much to play and walk just gooood food.. heez.. that night went to 'the store' to shop and i ate a lot even after having such a filling dinner.. cos saw kaya ball and waffle stall there.. haiz.. whateva.. lol.. but their chocolate paste for the waffle was terrible.. disappointed.. but the kaya balls were nice.. my favourite dunno since when.. haha.. all the way till now.. somehow kaya balls not very popular in singapore.. cant seem to find them here at all. in malaysia at least some places still have.. but still not very easily found..

the next day we went san poh tong.. a famous cave in ipoh with a very long and high flight of stairs.. really proud of my little bro.. previously he did not dare to climb up as he was scared.. but this time.. amazingly.. he did not hesitate one bit.. climbed all the way up with us and even became our 'little leader'..=p using his torch and helping us along the way.. so brave all of a sudden.. just after less than a year.. these 2 pics were taken in the cave.. the first one shows how high the 1st flight of stairs is.. my uncle's family is so tiny in the backgrd.. haha.. after this flight there are still a few more shorter flight of stairs but cos they are located further in the cave with minimal lighting.. so it was really hard to see the steps in front of us..

After this we left straight to penang! haha.. we stayed 3 nights there.. but time there passed really quickly as well.. went nagore place for dinner.. was a new place for us.. ate the baba nyonya cuisine there.. expected more from it as it was recommended in the lonely planet travel guide.. but we werent exactly wowed by their food.. was ok i guess.. but definitely not very worth it for the price.. oh well.. now i know go msia their road side stalls, usually local delights are the best... and cheap as well.. heez..

the next morn wanted to go penang national park to hike at first but it was raining.. as such we had to change our plan and go bowling first.. watched kung fu panda and indiana jones in the afternoon.. heez.. and shopping.. luckily the next morn wasnt raining as well or we would not be able to go to the park le.. we also watched 'hulk' that afternoon at gurney plaza..

the next day.. b4 leaving penang.. we visited the chocolate boutique there.. they have a total of 7 rms there with many many diff kinds of chocolate.. we walked ard tgt with a guide there who talked us thru abt the diff chocs and gave us samples to try.. we bought so many chocolates there.. added up to quite a large sum.. lol.. sinful..

our next stop is taiping.. first time gg there.. it is a small town abt 100km from penang.. it is a nice town with a beautiful lake garden.. didnt really have the time to take a stroll ard the park.. but had time to go ard in our cars.. haha.. these 2 pics were all taken at the lake garden.. there were swan rides available in the lake..

happy times always seems to pass really quickly.. after taiping.. we headed to our last stop malacca.. along our trip back to singapore.. at first we wanted to stay in hotel puri.. but there was only 1 room left.. subsequently we walked along the chinatown area in search of other hotels with available rooms but to no avail.. the rest were full house already.. in the end we decided to shop at the pasar malam there along a long stretch of road.. after which then we drive further out to try our luck at the bigger hotels.. it was quite interesting.. making stops at different hotels.. checking availability.. none then next stop.. haha.. but of cos worrying at the same time.. scarly have to slp in the car that night.. lol.. but luckily we still managed to find one small hotel that have 2 rms left for us.. haha.. heng..=)

that night.. we went to a mini theme park nearby that we discovered during our drive ard in search of a place to stay.. we took the ferris wheel, pirate ship, and my little bro even tried rock climbing of which he only managed to reach the halfway mark or less.. haha..

And ta da.. thats roughly how my trip went.. thought there are definitely a lot more things that happen.. activities.. so on.. but hard to recall and write everything down.. heez.. after breakfast on our last day.. we embarked on our journey back home..

just returned from m'sia today.. had been a great 8-9 days holi trip..!! enjoyed myself a lot.. ate a lot! lol.. there were ups and downs.. stuffs to think about.. but luckily.. i think everything still went very smoothly.. looking forward to the next trip again..=p heez.. gg to slp soon cos it has been a tiring day.. will be sharing more things another day when i have more time and when i have transfered all the pics that i took from my cam to my com..

yeah! just bought a new laptop last sat.. the old one was just too slow le.. but after i reboot the whole thing.. it seems ok alrdy.. so now my former laptop will be like a family com.. for my dad, mum and little bro to use.. hmm.. trying to recall what i did the last few days.. heez..

went m'sia last fri with my dad and little bro. haha! we took bus, mrt to kranji, then 170 to johor.. its a long journey.. but its part of the experience..=p not sitting comfortably in the car while my dad drive us there le, when we go m'sia for holi.. this time go there via public transport.. glad to be able to have this outing.. heez.. the first pic was taken by me on our way there, when we were in bus 170.. haha.. oh.. then we had lunch there.. at vivo cafe. and my little bro really enjoyed his food.. the way he eats his food, is just very nice to watch, makes u feel like the food is super nice..=p

after lunch we went to play arcade, watch movie and then had dinner at the streets as well.. it was fun bah. go out with my family..=) but honestly, i cant go there often cos i will eat non stop..(@.@).. cos there a lot of snacks sold at road sides.. like kaya ball, vege fritters, keropok etc.. that i can stop myself from buying and eating.. i think in one day i ate like food enough for 3 days.. lol!

on sat my mum, 2 bros and i went to RTC for lunch and then bowling.. it was my little bro's first time playing bowling..! haha and im glad he really enjoyed bowling.. in the first game we played, he actually won my mum! beginner's luck i guess..=p after that he didnt do that well le..=p

after our bowling game, we went to sim lim sq and there was where i bought my com.. at first our purpose to go there is just to get 2 new memory sticks for my bro's psp.. but we came across this promotion and since i do need a new com le.. so decided to buy... so last few days has been busy with transfering all my stuffs to this new com and installing things that i will need.. so far till today still not completely finished with the setting up of my com.. will do one thing at a time bah..

hmm.. as for sun nothin much.. other then fiddling with my new com, after charging it over night.. we went tamp giant to have lunch and shop for ingredients for dinner.. heez.. and in the end i bought so many things there.. cos i luv baking.. bought a new 12 pcs mini muffin pan.. measuring spoons/cup.. and other stuffs.. i must say its quite nice to shop there as it is a big supermarket and its facilities there makes it convenient to do marketing there.. for e.g. a lot of trolley points, sufficient space to walk and push trolley ard.. even if its rather crowded.. haha..

as for today.. went for my 2nd auto car lesson.. the driving centre made it compulsory for all manual students to take up 2 auto car lessons at least in order to familarise with the difference.. i think its quite gd for us to have a chance to try out auto cars as i believe most of us will eventually drive auto cars after getting the class 3 license anyway..=p after my lesson.. went k-box with my perc section ppl.. glad to see them again after quite some time since i graduated from vjc.. we sang from 1-7pm! haha.. very shiok.. i like to just sing along with the songs with the others.. took a grp pic at the end..=)
